Accessibility isn't optional anymore, and ignoring it is costing you customers.
If your online store isn't accessible, you're losing customers and building compliance risk under the European Accessibility Act (EAA). Fixing it early costs far less than fines and lost revenue.
We find, prioritize, and fix accessibility issues across Browse → PDP → Cart → Authentication → Checkout, working alongside your team through delivery.
The EAA is in effect, and the cost of ignoring it is already real.
The EAA has been enforceable since June 2025. If your product isn't accessible, the costs aren't hypothetical. They're already landing on three fronts:
-
Lost revenue
One in four adults in Europe lives with a disability. Customers who can't use your site buy from someone else.
-
Penalties
Every EU country you sell into enforces the rules separately. You may be fined and your products may be removed from market. Fines in Germany may reach as high as €100,000 per violation.
-
Complaints
If your site does not comply, you may be reported by individual customers, competitors, or an advocacy group.
Most teams know accessibility matters. What they don't have is a way to act on it without slowing the roadmap, overwhelming the team, or creating another layer of operational debt. That’s where we come in.
Who we work with.
-
Existing products
You already have product, design, engineering, and content teams shipping. Accessibility matters to everyone, but no one owns it. It's not built into delivery, and fixing it means competing with everything else on the roadmap.
-
Early-stage products
You're building or rebuilding core journeys now and want accessible foundations in place before the debt piles up and gets expensive to unwind.
-
Agencies on Shopify
You have a client who needs accessibility work and no one in-house to own it. We plug in as an embedded specialist on the build, not a vendor your client has to manage separately.
Executives want the cost, the timeline, and the exposure, not a 200-page report. Product and design leads already know the gap exists and need a partner who fits inside delivery, not around it. We work with both, because closing the gap takes both.
Who this is not for.
We’re direct about fit.
You're looking for an overlay or automated "compliance" widget instead of fixing the underlying issues.
You want a report with no follow-through. Our model assumes the work continues into planning and delivery.
Your product has no real commerce or conversion journeys. Our prioritization is built around journey criticality, and there's not much for that to work with otherwise.
You want a vendor to take over implementation entirely. We validate, guide, and review: your team stays in control of the codebase and the decisions.
What you actually get.
-
An audit report
A prioritized, evidence-backed view that identifies accessibility gaps in your highest-traffic journeys
-
A remediation plan
A remediation plan that tells your team exactly what to fix and how to fix it.
-
Implementation oversight
Implementation oversight so your team keeps building while we handle the accessibility calls.
At the end of the project, your website will also benefit from a cleaner semantic structure, better keyboard navigation, and clearer forms that improve SEO and reduce friction for every customer, not only the ones using assistive technology.
Every fix starts with the same four factors.
That's how we decide what gets fixed first.
-
1. User impact
Who is affected, and does the issue stop them from completing their task entirely or just make it harder?
-
2. Journey criticality
Where does it sit in the journey? A failure in checkout outweighs the same failure on a secondary page.
-
3. Compliance risk
Is this a clear WCAG 2.1 AA failure, the kind regulators or procurement processes act on?
-
4. Implementation effort
How complex is the fix? High-impact, low-effort issues move up the sequence.
We offer three engagements (diagnostic, planning & strategy, and implementation support), independently or combined, depending on where you are and what you need next.
Our engagements.
Most accessibility consultancies hand you a report and disappear. We stay embedded through delivery instead, validating decisions and guiding implementation alongside your product, design, engineering, and content teams.
We don't take over your codebase or your team's calls. The first step is a 20-minute conversation, not a contract.
-
For teams who've never addressed accessibility systematically, relied on overlays or quick fixes, are preparing for EAA/WCAG compliance, or need visibility into current risk.
We assess navigation, search, PDPs, cart, checkout, forms, authentication, and account management.
You get: a findings report with severity ratings and WCAG references, remediation guidance, a prioritized issue backlog, and an implementation sequence.
Outcome: you know exactly which issues put you at legal or revenue risk, and which can wait.
Timeline: 1–3 weeks depending on scope. Stands alone, or feeds directly into Planning & Strategy.
-
For existing products: remediation prioritization, roadmap alignment, governance, workflow integration, strategic debt reduction.
For early-stage products: accessible foundations, embedding accessibility into product strategy, avoiding costly retroactive fixes.
May include: prioritization workshops, maturity assessment, accessibility checkpoints, workflow recommendations, design reviews, roadmap planning, design system accessibility strategy.
Outcome: accessibility gets planned into sprints like any other product work, not escalated as a one-off.
Timeline: 2–8 weeks depending on team size and complexity. Works with or without a prior Diagnostic.
-
We help interpret requirements, validate decisions, reduce regressions, and maintain quality during delivery. We don't replace your team or implement code directly.
Support includes: remediation reviews, implementation guidance, design/UX support, validation, QA and retesting, component reviews, and ongoing consultation.
Engagement models: fixed-scope projects, embedded consulting, periodic reviews, and retainers.
Proof and results.
This isn't just about avoiding legal exposure. It's revenue already on the table:
-
69%
of disabled online shoppers leave a site they find difficult to use.
-
£17.1bn
lost each year by UK retailers as a result (the "Click-Away Pound”).
-
86%
have paid more on a site that worked for them than buy cheaper on one that didn't.
-
81%
of professionals say it improves customer retention translating to more sustainable growth (survey of 1,600+).

Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. The diagnostic identifies and prioritizes risk, but the model is built to carry through planning and implementation if you want that, not a report you're left to act on alone.
-
No. We work alongside your product, design, engineering, and content teams, validating decisions and guiding implementation, not building it in your place.
-
No. Each engagement stands on its own. Start with whichever matches where you are. Many teams run the diagnostic first because it's the cheapest way to find out what's actually wrong, then decide from there whether to continue into planning, implementation, or nothing at all.
-
The diagnostic phase typically runs 1–3 weeks depending on scope, ending with a prioritized, evidence-backed issue backlog.
-
Yes, that's the more cost-effective time to start. Planning & Strategy for early-stage teams focuses on building accessible foundations before debt accrues, rather than remediating after the fact.
-
Our deepest expertise is Shopify-based ecommerce, but the prioritization approach applies to any digital product with conversion-critical journeys.
-
No. The EAA requires accessibility by design, and EN 301 549, the European standard it's built on, sets technical obligations that no overlay can satisfy. Screen readers and other assistive technologies interact directly with your underlying code structure. A missing form label, broken heading hierarchy, or incorrect ARIA implementation stays broken regardless of what a widget adds on top.
EAA enforcement has been active since June 2025. Regulators assess real conformance with EN 301 549, not overlay presence, and a widget is not accepted as compliance evidence. If you have one live, we can assess your actual exposure and tell you what real compliance requires.
-
Most audits hand you a list of issues with no delivery context. We prioritize by user impact, journey criticality, compliance risk, and implementation effort, sequence the work to fit your roadmap, and stay involved through remediation to validate fixes. The audit is the start of the work, not the end of our involvement.
-
If you're in an urgent situation (a legal demand letter, imminent EAA enforcement), we can start a diagnostic within days. Book a call and we'll tell you straight what's realistic for your timeline.
-
Both. If you're an agency with a client who needs accessibility support on a Shopify build, we work as an embedded specialist alongside you. If you're a merchant managing your store directly, we work with your internal team.
Accessibility should not become another operational fire drill.
Book a free 20-minute consultation. We'll talk through your current accessibility exposure, your delivery constraints, and whether a diagnostic, planning, or implementation engagement is the right place to start.
